How to report Dividend Income
Form 1099-DIV and other dividend income may be entered on our Dividend Listing Page. If the dividend income amounts to $1,499 or less, it will be reflected on line 3b of your Form 1040 if you are reporting Ordinary Dividends and/or line 3a if you are reporting Qualified Dividends. If the income amounts to $1,500 or more, a Schedule B will be added to your return and the amount should reflect on Schedule B, Part II and on line 3a/3b of Form 1040.
How to report Dividend Income
Enter your Return, search and select Dividend Listing Page
On the Dividend Listing Page, select +Add New
3) Complete the Dividend Listing Page and Save the page
The interest income reported on this page(s) should be reflected in your return depending on the total amount of interest income.

Dividend entry method
Basic - Choose this method if Boxes 1a, 1b, 2a, 4, 17 have amounts included, or if you are indicating ineligibility of Qualified Dividends
Advanced - Choose this method if Boxes 15, 2d, 3, 5, 7, 8 also have amounts included, or if you are reporting nominee distributions
Disclaimer: DO NOT combine multiple dividend income amounts. There is no limit to the number of listings a return can include. Add a New listing for each.
