How to edit a state return
Quick Answer
Edit your state return by entering your return and selecting Edit (State Abbreviation) Return from the Return Summary page. This opens the state-specific forms where you can update your state filing information.
The state return information can easily be accessed in the sidebar navigation.

Add or remove a state return by entering your return, selecting State Return Selections (also under the Basic Info tab), and using the checkboxes to add or remove each state. Check a state to add it, uncheck to remove it, then Save & Continue.
