How to check if my return was accepted/rejected
The Navigation page will display your status report with your acknowledgement status received by the IRS and Government Agency. The Status Report will display the following if applicable:
Current acknowledgement status,
Tax return’s Submission ID,
Acknowledgement date,
If your return was rejected, the rejection code, reason for rejection, and help message
Action Required/ No Action Required
To view e-file status
1. Log in to your MyFreeTaxReturn.com account
2. Select Work With Filing to view your Status Report on the Navigation page
3. Select Get eFile status to check if your return is Accepted, Rejected or Pending

Has my return been filed
To determine whether your return has been filed, the Submission Status is shown on the Navigation Page. Your filing will give you the status of your federal return and any state return(s) filed. To view the status of your return:
Why is my return pending
Your return has not been acknowledged by the IRS and/or state yet. Once your return is acknowledged, you should get an email from us suggesting that you check your account.
