How do I change/update my banking information
There are different ways to change or update your banking information depending on the type of transaction you are trying to complete. You can only update your banking information if your return has not been filed or if it was rejected and needs to be resubmitted. Below is a step by step guide to update/change banking details.

Direct Deposit (Tax Refund)
Direct deposit is the process of getting your tax refund directly deposited into your bank account. To change or update your banking information, follow the steps below:
On the summary page, scroll down to the Payment & Filing Method section, select From Bank Account. If you do not see this option, select Enter balance Due Payment Details.
This will take you to the Federal Tax Balance Settlement Page, you will need to Save & Continue the first page that populates to access the Direct Deposit details
