Can I register an account with a foreign phone number

Unfortunately, MyFreeTaxReturn.com cannot accept a foreign phone number when registering an account. The IRS requires us to have two-factor authentication for all Tax Center accounts created through the system. 

In order to use MyFreeTaxReturn.com, you will need access to a US mobile phone number. This is for security purposes to verify your identity if you lose access to your account. We apologize for the inconvenience.
